Thomas Binar | PPG Music Supervising

Thomas Binar is a trained professional for audiovisual media and studied media management at the European University of Applied Sciences Fresenius in Idstein. While still studying, he began his long-term work at the established music consulting agency Daydream GmbH Munich. Since then he has supervised more than 50 feature films, dozens of TV films and series as well as various TV-commercials as a music consultant.

Lisa-Marie Uttenlauch has a Bachelor’s degree in Metropolitan Culture from HafenCity University Hamburg and a Master’s degree in Musicology from Humboldt University Berlin. After her studies, she did a specialization in Music Supervision at Berklee Online. Through a summer school at King's College London with a focus on film and internships in the music industry (radio, indie distribution, PR agency, festival), Lisa has an interdisciplinary view on music and music supervision.

In 2017 he was able to enhance his career and activities as founder and managing director of PPG Music Supervising. Due to its increasing success in 2020 PPG Music Supervising became the PPG Entertainment GmbH. Thomas Binar is also a Foreign Affiliate Member of the Guild Of Music Supervisors in the USA.

PPG is currently responsible for motion pictures, TV productions and VoD-series produced by Hellinger / Doll Filmproduktion GmbH, Occupant Entertainment, Pantaleon Films GmbH, W & B Television GmbH MÄKSMY, btf series GmbH, DREAMTOOL Entertainment, Netflix, Amazon & Sky.

PPG is independent, but works closely with the entire music industry. We maintain close personal contact with Sony / ATV, Warner Chappell, Sony Music, Universal Records & Publishing, Warner Music, Ninja Tunes, Beggars Group and many more.

In addition to classic music supervision "PPG Soundtracks & Records" and the "PPG Recording Studios" complete the holistic consulting concept.

Services: copyright clearance, processing and administration of all contract stages, song research, music conception, music production, composition, exchange of songs for IT versions, music editing.
